“They grabbed us from our mom, they stacked us in a carton box and we found ourselves at the foot of the mountain before we even knew it… but when we saw the mountain we talked it through right away and we made up our minds!!! We would start climbing to conquer one mountain peak each of us.
Every experienced mountaineer however needs a Sherpa to be his guide and porter. So when we saw a great muscular dog passing by we started calling at him asking for his help. Of course he responded instantly and came close to us. Sadly like all dogs he didn’t understand our feline language and instead of the mountain, he led us to his home.
Which wasn’t very bad really….sort of base camp. We have food and a warm bed but we look forward to exploring the world! So we are looking for a human to be our friend, our guide and fellow traveler for the rest of our lives.”
Makalu, whose name means Black Mountain, is a quiet power. She watches everything with a look of determination and wisdom even though she is only a few weeks old. She was the first to get out of the carton box and commanded help when her siblings were still scared away. At home she prefers being held and petted and her favorite pastime is watching her sister and brothers from the comfort of the sofa or even better nestled in our arms.
She was born beginning May 2017 and she will be given up for adoption to be kept exclusively indoors on condition she be neutered at the appropriate age. Her new guardian will be required to cover the cost of microchipping her. Contact phone number 6936554651.
